Day Fifty-Seven.

Reason #060 to come to Washington: A giant cement troll holding a VW Beetle under a big bridge... and friends!
Reason #060 to come to Indiana: Five year old hairstylists. She even told me I could keep the bow.

There'll Be Some Changes Made

So Amy and I actually have lives. (I know, surprise! Right?) A photo every day is a lot of work! So we've decided to change this to a weekly reason to come photo posted every Sunday.

We love you and we'll see you in April!

Love,
Tori

P.S. 10 points to whoever can figure out what song the title of this post is from. (Hint: it has nothing to do with any indie rock. Possibly jazz though.)

Day Fifty-Six.

Reason #059 to come to Washington: Jeans from Express. Express is my favorite place to get jeans. They're pretty decently priced for how good of jeans they are. And I just love them.

Reason #059 to come to Indiana: Sonoro(us). For fans of Explosions in the Sky.

Day Fifty-Five.

Reason #058 to come to Washington: Art! I made this print last summer and my dad just bought a frame for it and put it, along with 2 other prints by me on the wall. It's a great feeling when someone puts your art on their wall.

Reason #058 to come to Indiana: Beacons aka Mason Hunter. For fans of Animal Collective.

Day Fifty-Four.

Reason #057 to come to Washington: Dicks cheeseburgers. And ice cream. And french fries. Delicious and oh so cheap. I always get a cheeseburger, fried and a chocolate shake and spend less than $6!!!
Reason #057 to come to Indiana: Going to Valparaiso to visit friends that you've had since first grade. This is Emily Burman. And yes. All we do in Indiana is eat food.

Day Fifty-Three.

Reason #056 to come to Washington: Seattle Waterfront. Beautiful and lots to do. From feeding the Seagulls by holding a french fry out as they swoop down to eat it to curiosity shops to arcades to aquariums, there's never a dull moment.
Reason #053 and #054 to come to Indiana: Semi legitimate fashion shows for a growing downtown. Buildings with beautiful architecture like many of the buildings downtown.

Day Fifty-Two.

Reason #055 to come to Washington: Red Light Vintage. A HUGE two story tall vintage clothing store. What more could you ask for?

Reason #054 to come to Indiana: Deciding to eat dinner at the first restaurant we could find that we had never heard of before. It ended up being a pizza buffet. Katie and I had three pieces of pizza, a salad, and two slices of dessert pizza. Each. In 20 minutes.

Day Fifty-One.

Reason #054 to come to Washington: Street art. I think it speaks for itself.
Reason #053 to come to Indiana: The Arcola Tractor Pulls. Every July the barely-a-town of Arcola becomes over populated with America's finest to witness one of the classiest sports around--tractor pulling. Bonus: I live right next door so we can't sleep for a whole weekend. I've trespassed many a time to take photos in the tractor pulls during its off season.

Day Fifty.

Reason #053 to come to Washington: Crazy drain pipes that hold plants! Not sure if they were designed that way but whatever. It's still cool. Also, did you know you can still turn left onto a one way street even if there's a red light. I think that's their only redeeming quality.
Reason #052 to come to Indiana: Busy days mean no time for bed making.

Day Forty-Nine.

Reason #052 to come to Washington: The gum wall located in an alleyway in Seattle. There is gum all up and down the wall. People have even written things out with their gum on the wall. It is fantastically disgusting.

Reason #051 to come to Indiana: Shopping trips that make you late for FHE. But at least Katie Crabill was with me. And I didn't get pulled over.

Day Forty-Eight

Reason #051 to come to Washington: Books! My dad has a fantastic collection of books. Topic range anywhere from art, design, religion, politics, science fiction, fantasy, etc. He has many classics, books by Jack Kerouac, Philip K. Dick, Ayn Rand, Roald Dahl, the list goes on.
Reason #050 to come to Indiana: Sometimes you get pulled over for your first time. Even though you were going 14 over the speed limit, the officer lets you off with a warning. Possibly because you told him you were late for church. Definitely because he's a nice guy.
