Day Twenty-Two.

Reason #024 to come to Washington: Me. I miss you.
Reason #024 to come to Indiana: Driving at night always looks like this. PSYCHE. But seriously, driving and taking pictures is not recommended for people who do not multitask well.

Day Twenty-One.

Reason #023 to come to Washington: Tuco. He is my bird. He was actually names after "the ugly" in The Good The Bad and The Ugly but as you can see, he is not ugly. He is one handsome, sassy little bird. He can cat call and knows the entire theme song to the Andy Griffith Show. He enjoys trying to fly, having whistling contests with my dad and mimicking the microwave beeps.

Reason #023 to come to Indiana: Summit Singles Branch FHE. Because who doesn't enjoy playing a life size game of Monopoly with a bunch of twenty-something-single-and-ready-to-mingles and three missionaries.

Day Twenty.

Reason #022 to come to Washington: Late night Seinfeld. My parents own 8 seasons of Seinfeld on DVD. (Soon to be all 9!) I often stay up late and watch a few episodes before I go to bed. There's just something comforting about being able to watch Seinfeld at anytime you so desire.
Reason #022 to come to Indiana: Violet Whispers Shannon Benkenstein. No, that was not abusive capitalization. The name of my sister's hamster really is a sentence. My sister-in-law Shannon wanted Violet to be named after her, and Kristen just liked the other names.

Day Nineteen.

Reason #021 to come to Washington: I make great mixes. I don't get to do it very often because when I'm at school, I don't have time and I'm too lazy to mail things to people. So coming to Seattle = getting great mixes from Tori.
Reason #021 to come to Indiana: Super Nintendo Saturdays. Because I played Mario Kart better than the Colts played football tonight.

Day Eighteen.

Reason #020 to come to Washington: Max and Ryan Wieseler. (Ryan not featured in photo). I nannied these kids all of last winter and babysat them tonight. They are awesome little monsters that enjoy activities such as dancing, karate chopping, eating, racing, throwing things, jumping, making silly faces and watching tons and tons of Spongebob Squarepants. How can you go wrong?
Reason #020 to come to Indiana: MJ's Pizza. MJ's is where all of your wildest one topping large pizza dreams come true for $6.25 including tax. The favorite for local carnivores is chicken ranch. However, if you live the vegetarian lifestyle, straight up cheese isn't too bad. MJ's: That's Sum Pizza.

Day Seventeen.

Reason #o17 to come to Washington: Ideal swing dance scene. If you ask any swing dancer who has been around to many states for swing dancing, most will agree Seattle is one of the best if not the best for swing dancing. I went once with a friend the summer of '07 and have been hooked ever since. If you like to swing dance or want to learn, I recommend  a visit to Seattle.
Reason #019 to come to Indiana: Several options for transportation. This picture encompasses examples of all three types of vehicles my dad has to offer.
1) The transportation that is probably never used: the bicycle and the two Honda 500 motorcycles.
2) The transportation that is sometimes used when the weather is right: 71 Plymouth Cuda, Honda Goldwing motorcycle, Yamaha Windjammer motorcycle, the red and silver moped, the little blue truck, and "my" Dodge Shadow convertible.
3) The transportation that is frequently used: My Saturn SCII and dad's Oldsmobile.

Day Sixteen.

Reason #018 to come to Washington: My cat. She has been featured in previous posts but I just can't get enough of her. She's adorable. She's pretty skittish and hesitant to warm up to people but when she does, she's super cuddly and irresistible. Today she was sitting on my bed watching people pass in the hallway through this little window in the laundry on my bed. It was so cute. This shot was not set up.
Reason #018 to come to Indiana: Brother Ed. He's the perfect driving companion. Even if his hula skirt is held up by a hair tie and is shedding all over my dashboard.
